Billing

 

At Toorak Village Medical Centre, we know that knowing the costs of treatment is important.

 

We bill directly for the following:

• Consultations

• Some tests conducted onsite (eg. ECG’s, pregnancy tests)

• Some procedures conducted onsite (eg. Wart removal, sutures)

 

We will request bulkbilling on your behalf for the following (where available/applicable).

• X-Rays & Imaging

• Pathology

If a valid Pensioner Concession Card is held, GPs consultations will be bulkbilled between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday (excluding consultations with Dr David Bornstein & Dr Charles Okraglik).

If a valid Health Care Card (HCC) is held consultations will be discounted between these hours.

If you are seeing one of our specialists or allied health professionals, please be aware that a private fee will be payable on the day for all consultations. In most cases you will be eligible for a Medicare rebate. Please contact the clinic for more information about the consultation fees for our specialists and allied health professionals. 

 

Fees are payable in full at the end of the consultation. We accept Visa, Mastercard, EFTPOS, Cheque or Direct Deposit. Please note that we DO NOT accept CASH payments.

If you are experiencing financial difficulties please ask to speak to the Practice Manager to discuss alternate arrangements. As policy, we do not issue accounts.
